WWE Superstar Killian Dain shares first concept of wife Nikki Cross’ new superhero costume
Killian Dain, the husband of Nikki Cross, provided a glimpse of the first concept of the new superhero attire debuted on RAW.
Cross teamed up with Alexa Bliss in a qualifying match for the Money in the Bank ladder match next month. Dain shared the artwork done by artist Rob Downie, who planned it several months earlier.
Cross has publicly praised the new gimmick saying that it has helped her bring new joy to her character. She has also been praised by other former WWE Superstars. The Hurricane was seen calling her a “HERicane” in reference to his character in WWE.
Cross new gimmick is hoping to bring her newfound success, after previously being part of the storyline with Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. She faced both women in Beat the Clock matches on consecutive weeks on RAW.
While she has more or less carried the colour scheme of her costume, the cape is missing.
The new superhero costume will also be used during her Money in the Bank ladder match, so she will be hoping to boost her confidence levels in the build up to that.
Dain also revealed that the idea of the character was taken by Cross herself. She along with the writers put together this idea which came into fruition during her match against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
What do we expect from superhero Nikki Cross?
Cross is now one of the favourites alongside Bliss from RAW to win the Money in the Bank. She has been on an impressive run of form over the past weeks and the win with Bliss shows that.
She has admitted that even though she has no superpowers, it has given her another sense of joy and confidence going into Money in the Bank.
We will wait to see what Cross achieves over the next few months on WWE Raw. A title push is on the cards after featuring across two storylines in a short span of time. Will Nikki Cross reach the promised land and win a major title in WWE?
