Matt Riddle and Randy Orton are the RAW Tag Team Champions and they will defend their titles in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania against Alpha Academy and The Street Profits
Matt Riddle recently did an interview with WWE’s The Bump where he heaped praises on Chad Gable. Riddle has great chemistry with “The Viper” Randy Orton and both of them are in the middle of their second tag team championship reign together.
Riddle said that “Gable [is an] Olympian” and “one of the best in the biz” and also admitted that he loves Gable’s “shooshes” which have become quite popular as of late. The RK-Bro member was asked about how impressed he is with Gable for having changed Otis’ persona over the last year.
Riddle said, “You know, a couple of years ago, Otis was kissing on Mandy and you are right, he was doing cool things but his head wasn’t in the game. You know, I feel underneath the leadership and ala tutorship, I don’t know if that’s a word but under the guidance of Master Gable, Otis has really came into his own and I think we’re actually starting to see the real monster that Otis can be because the guy is a tank, he is huge, he is powerful but I think his direction hasn’t been proper in the past. But with Gable leading the way he is doing much better, he is doing good. Hats off to Otis.”
Matt Riddle ensures that RK-Bro is up for the challenge
Matt Riddle is all geared up for his WrestleMania match alongside “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton against The Street Profits and Alpha Academy.
Riddle had a good bonding with Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits. However, the duo has had a changed demeanor over the past few weeks blindsiding RK-Bro and unleashing assaults. Riddle was asked if he and Orton needed to raise their game at WrestleMania knowing the level The Street Profits are at right now.
Riddle said, “Yeah I’ll be honest, going into WrestleMania going against The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, I know RK-Bro’s gonna have to pick it up and take it to another level. But if I know Randy and I know myself, if I know RK-Bro I think we are up for the challenge and I don’t think The Street Profits or Alpha Academy are gonna know what hits them at WrestleMania.”
The triple-threat match for RK-Bro’s Tag titles will take place on Night 2 of WrestleMania 38.
