Lance Storm was released by WWE recently but wasn’t happy about some revelations from Retribution

Former WWE star and producer Lance Storm didn’t quite understand Retribution and spoke about his exit on social media.

Storm was best known for his tag team title reigns in WWE while he did well on WCW too. The Canadian has trained some of the best stars in WWE but was made redundant during the coronavirus pandemic.

However, he questioned WWE’s decision to hand Retribution members a contract. The five have damaged a lot of property in a few months of coming on the show and even attacked several stars.

All the five were part of NXT and it was incredible that they were handed contracts after all this.

Storm found it hilarious that they were given contracts after all the destruction and claimed he would have done the same to stay in WWE:

“They fired my a** but signed 20 people who where were destroying equipment and actively sabotaging the show? #RAW I’d have thrown a Molotov Cocktail had they asked”

Willing to try other promotions

Some fans believed that Storm was upset at being fired from WWE but the Canadian explained he was having trouble getting into the country:

“Yeah I was a producer that can’t get into the Country and this is a TV angle and not real.”

He added that he was open to working again once the borders opened, and he could travel back and forth.

The Canadian added that he was looking to get back to work and would check on his options before making a move:

“When I’m able to travel, I’ll go where I get the best offer and feel I am the best fit.”

It will be interesting to see when Storm can return to action. The pandemic affected several WWE employees and the promotion made several cuts.

Many of the performers ended up on rival promotions such as Rusev, Matt Cardona and Eric Young.

Retribution was the chance for WWE to do something great with the faction, but the reveal on this week’s WWE felt flat and didn’t click well after a lot of teasing.
