Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole put on a battle at NXT Stand and Deliver

There was a war on show at WWE NXT Stand and Deliver’s second night with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly clashing.

The former teammates from the Undisputed Era left nothing on the table as they went at it. The match lasted for a crazy 40+ minutes and the pair threw everything at each other.

This was one of those career-defining matches and it was most for O’Reilly. Cole was already a bona fide singles star and an NXT triple crown champion.

O’Reilly had been on a rise in recent months and even got a couple of title shots but those didn’t work in his favour.

Nevertheless, it was O’Reilly who came out on top in this battle. Both stars went to their limits and the aftermath of the clash is being shared now.

O’Reilly, the victor, recently shared a long post on social media and hinted at something big coming his way:

“I’ve been a total spaz lately. UE meant the World to me & it sucks to see it go. But with that war at #NXTTakeOver behind me I can’t wait to heal up & move on with my life. Who shall be next to get smacked around the ring by Kool Kyle?”

Time for Adam Cole or Kyle O’Reilly to move on?

The move on bit from O’Reilly’s post was interesting to see. This could mean a lot of things. O’Reilly could be on his way to another brand but in all probability, he will be going for another rivalry.

Karrion Kross is the new NXT Champion after defeating Finn Balor, and this could be a great battle for O’Reilly.

The end of the Undisputed Era, as it seems, could also open the doors for Cole. The leader of the group is one of the best talents in WWE and this could be the perfect time for him to move on too.

However, WWE has often messed up NXT stars moving up to Raw or SmackDown. Cole has been a star, a proper one, on NXT and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.
