Kevin Owens lost to Roman Reigns at TLC 2020

Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens battled it out for the WWE Universal Championship at the pay-per-view TLC 2020 on Sunday.

‘The Head of the Table’ and Owens have had a history together. But, all of their matches have come with the former as the babyface and the latter as the heel.

These roles were reversed at TLC 2020 when two fought it out at a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the Universal Championship.

As expected, Jey Uso had a say in the outcome of the match. ‘Jucey’ pulled Kevin Owens down as he was about to get his hand on the belt.

This afforded Reigns enough time to recover and get up back on his feet. The ‘Tribal Chief’ then got a hold of KO as he was about to grab the belt again, and delivered a guillotine choke on top of the ladder.

KO gave it his all in his defeat to Reigns, but still had enough left in him to make cameo appearances on Twitter and answer some questions posed to him by the fans.

One of the fans asked why the former NXT Champion had no friends, to which he replied by saying that it was due to his behavior in the squad and because the Riott Squad wasn’t at the event.

Some fans wondered why Sami Zayn wouldn’t help his friend Kevin Owens while Reigns got the help of Jey Uso.

KO’s sense of humor was not lost here as he said that he’s not going to let Zayn near him until he gets rid of his current hairstyle.

Zayn and Owens have had a crazy relationship in WWE but the pair are great friends off screen.

Owens and Reigns are set to fight for the belt again. The two will face off in a steel cage match on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown with the belt on the line once again.
