Officer Exchange got sold to Amazon without a director. Ben Zazove and Evan Turner are the writers of the film. However, Cena recently played an anti-hero Peacemaker on the newest Suicide Squad. The Character had its series on HBO Max. The series was highly viewed and got a lot of praise; it earned a second season in February.

Cena will also star alongside Jackie Chan in Argyle and the live/action animated Looney Toones film Coyote vs Acme.

When will John Cena return to WWE?

After the success of The Rock and Batista, John Cena is another name that is shining in the film industry. But a question that remains to be answered is when will John Cena return to WWE.

We all know that The Rock has made some brief appearances in WWE but mainly for short cameos. His last appearance in WWE was in 2019 with Beck Lynch, where they teamed and got the better of Happy Corbin. The same goes for Batista as well. He made his last appearance for the brand in 2019 against Triple H at WrestleMania 35 and got defeated.

However, for John, he made an appearance in 2021 during the Money in the Bank and faced Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in a losing effort.

The former WWE champion talked in an interview with Ellen Degeneres, where he assured the fans that his wrestling career was not over yet,

“I’ll tell everybody watching, I’m not done with WWE by a long shot. That’s my home. I love it. I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas, and I’ve far from had my last performance.” (H/T – Fightful)
