WWE Legend Booker T makes some bold claims about former WWE Champion CM Punk
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T shows Triple H’s support after CM Punk mentioned The Game in his promo battle against MJF on AEW.
Booker T spoke on his Hall of Fame podcast (sportskeeda wrestling) disagreed with Punk’s promo. It was quite a personal attack on Triple H. He even said Triple H was a more giant star than Punk before marrying Stephanie McMahon. Booker mentioned that if Punk had married McMahon, he would have become a bigger star.
“It ticks me off a little bit, I’ve worked with Hunter (Triple H) since WCW. Hunter was a bigger star than CM Punk was before he even married Stephanie McMahon and that’s just fact. As far as becoming a bigger star after that, of course, he was going to become a bigger star after that (marrying Stephanie), he was in the family now. Look here, if CM Punk would’ve married Stephanie McMahon, he would’ve become a bigger star, perhaps.”
Booker T believes that CM Punk was a big star in WWE
The former King of WWE also mentioned in his interview that Punk was a massive star in WWE and on one should not even think that he wasn’t
“But, CM Punk was a big star in WWE and they were treating him like he was a big star in WWE. I don’t see how or why anyone could think that Punk wasn’t treated like a megastar.”
It all happened when the last ween on Dynamite Punk battled on the mic with some personal promos, and the former WWE champion took a dig a Triple H when he said that MJF could go to No.1 if he marries Tony Khan’s daughter.
