Beth Phoenix is getting her own WWE documentary later this month
WWE icon Beth Phoenix has become the latest women’s superstar on the promotion to get her own WWE documentary.
Earlier this year, women’s 2021 Royal Rumble winner, Bianca Belair, got a documentary of her own. And now, it’s Phoenix’s turn.
Her documentary comes as a part of the ‘Icons’ series whereby the promotion tells the life story of some of the most iconic WWE figures.
And breaking this message on Twitter was her proud husband, Edge. ‘The Rated R Superstar’ shared a photo of the cover of the documentary and wrote a small message to accompany it.
‘Beth The Glamazon’ then quoted the tweet to mention that everyone has a story, and how she is ‘grateful’ to be able to share hers’ with her fans.
Beth Pheonix is a real WWE icon
The documentary is scheduled to come out on 28th March, 2021, and will be broadcasted on Peacock TV and WWE Network.
True to the name of the series, Phoenix is a real icon in the promotion as she has become one of the most recognizable names in professional wrestling.
Phoenix, whose real name is Beth Copeland, is a former Divas Champion and won the Women’s championship thrice.
And rightly so, the trailblazer was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the class of 2017.
She retired from full-time pro wrestling in 2012 after an eleven year career inside the ring. But she has still made appearances on the show in various tag team matches and PPV events.
Most notably, she returned to the ring in the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble to be the first-ever wrestler to make appearances in both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble events.
Phoenix now works as a co-commentator on WWE NXT and has also commentated on women’s matches on the main roster.
