Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis have a new on-screen relationship on WWE
For the past few weeks, Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis have been ‘seeing’ each other on WWE NXT. This has led to some problems for Hartwell.
Indi has betrayed her faction, The Way, a few times because of her allegiance towards her crush, Lumis. One such incident happened just a couple of weeks back.
Hartwell deserted her tag team partner, Candice LeRae as she went to chase her crush. LeRae was then attacked backstage Thankfully for the duo, it did not affect their rematch for the NXT tag team title.
The two beat Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon last Tuesday to become the new NXT tag team champions.
LeRae and Hartwell were seen celebrating with Johnny Gargano, the leader of The Way, after the fight. But this can be troublesome in the future.
Drew McIntyre gives his best wishes to Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis.
Gargano and Lumis have had some issues in the past and the latter’s newfound relationship with Indi is surely going to impact The Way’s storyline on NXT in the coming weeks.
Commenting on this relationship, former WWE champion, Drew McIntyre, stated on Twitter that he hopes Indi and Dex succeed as a couple on the show.
He wrote, “Appreciate it & congrats Champ….. I hope you and Dex can work things out” as he replied to Indi sharing a photo with Drew’s new book, ‘A Chosen Destiny: My Story’.
The couple has been affectionately named ‘In-Dex’ by the WWE Universe, which the company liked so much that they reportedly filed a trademark notice to secure that name.
As for McIntyre, he is scheduled to take on Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match for the WWE title at WrestleMania Backlash on 16th May, 2021.
