Dexter Lumis sent out a reminder to Roderick Strong over his recent kidnapping

Dexter Lumis has been carving out quite a reputation for himself on WWE NXT of late with his bizarre actions.

Earlier this month, at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Lumis showed up during NXT Champion Adam Cole’s Backlot Brawl against Velveteen Dream.

He then attacked Cole’s fellow Undisputed Era members Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish, before showing them in the trunk of a car and driving away.

The UE duo were ‘missing’ for 12 hours, with Strong finally waking up in his own laundry room. Following the events of the ‘TakeOver: In Your House’ event, Cole fought off Lumis in a non-title bout on NXT.

Lumis reminds Strong of kidnapping incident

Lumis may have lost to Cole on NXT, but that hasn’t dissuaded him from obsessing over the UE. Issuing Strong a reminder of what had happened a mere few weeks ago, he posted an image of a trunk of a car, with fake fangs and a tongue, depicting a monster.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned next for Lumis. A team-up with Velveteen Dream was hinted at in the recent episode of NXT. A tag team angle with Dream and Lumis going up against members of the UE could work well.

With Dream not being able to challenge Cole for the NXT Championship anymore, it will give him a storyline to work with, while continuing to build on the bizarre character that is Dexter Lumis.

Dream vs Cole was one of the top rivalries on NXT, and it will be interesting to see what is next for Cole.

He will find out his fate after a triple threat match on NXT this week. Whoever wins the North American title gets a shot at Cole, and that sees Keith Lee, Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano battle it out.
