Former WWE star Chelsea Green targets Playboy photoshoot after horror movie death

It was almost one month back when news broke that Chelsea Green, along with other high-profile stars such as Samoa Joe, had been let go by WWE.

It came a few days after WrestleMania 37 with WWE citing financial strains due to Covid-19 as a reason.

This was also just a year after her fiancée, Matt Cardona (AKA Zack Ryder) was released by the company because of the reason.

But Green has been optimistic following her release and was talking about her future plans to Metro. Firstly, she says that she wants to become the girl that dies in a horror movie.

“I have a bucket list of things I wanna do… Definitely, I wanna be killed in a horror movie. I’ve always wanted that, I always found it so hilarious where you see the girl running and they always trip and fall, and then they get killed.”

Chelsea Greene won’t be the first WWE personality to feature in Playboy

Greene added that to make sure she achieves that goal, she is working hard to make contacts in Playboy, one of the most famous Rated-R magazines in the world.

“It’s just how it works! So I wanna be that girl. Right now, I’m trying to work at making contacts in Playboy to hopefully do that.”

She won’t be a trailblazer in that regard considering the number of WWE female superstars that have already featured on the cover of Playboy.

Sable, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Maria, Trish Stratus, Chyna, and Ashley Massaro have all made the cover in the past.

But it’s not like people would be angry or mad if Green follows suit. We wish her the best in her future career pursuits and hope that pro wrestling is not completely off the cards for her.
