Bronson Reed calls out Timothy Thatcher after defeating Oney Lorcan

WWE NXT Superstar Bronson Reed has called out Timothy Thatcher, following the latter’s impressive win against Oney Lorcan at The Great American Bash on Wednesday.

Thatcher and Lorcan had been involved in a bit of a rivalry of late, but that seems to have culminated following the events on Wednesday.

As Corey Graves had predicted, the match between the two was a banger. Thatcher was once again brilliant in the ring, disposing off Lorcan, who put up a brilliant fight.

Reed issues challenge to Thatcher

With Lorcan now dealt with, Thatcher would have needed someone new to tackle in the coming weeks. And it seems like Reed has put his hands up to take on ‘The British Messiah’.

After Thatcher’s victory over Lorcan, Reed posted the following message on Twitter:

Reed is fresh out of challenging Karrion Kross, which didn’t end all too well for him on last week’s NXT. While the big man came out swinging, he was beaten fairly easily by Doomsday.

And with Thatcher in a fine run since bashing Matt Riddle, Reed might end up on the losing side once again, should a bout be set up in the coming days.

It will be interesting to see if WWE decide to put the two men into the ring for Day Two of the Great American Bash next week.

There are already a few interesting fights lined up with Keith Lee and Adam Cole clashing in a winner-takes-all battle while Mia Yim will be facing off against Candice LeRae after brawling on Wednesday.
