Brock Lesnar has another bumpy ride on 5 March 2022 ahead of WWE WrestleMania

WWE WrestleMania 38 might feature a huge champion vs champion clash, but there is no surety that Brock Lesnar will be there.

The Beast is to face Roman Reigns at Mania in a champion vs champion clash. However, Paul Heyman appeared on this week’s Raw and claimed that Lesnar has another match on his hands before Mania.

The Advocate claimed that Lesnar would defend his title on March 5 in a special WWE live show from Madison Square Garden.

Heyman also added that Bobby Lashley would face Lesnar should The All-Mighty clear his concussion protocol.

Lashley was the champion coming into Elimination Chamber. However, he was injured during the match and had to leave.

Lesnar went on to dominate the match and win. However, there is little chance that Lashley might compete in the 5 March event.

Heyman claimed that he could choose an opponent if Lashley didn’t make it to the 5 March event.

Why Bobby Lashley might not face Brock Lesnar on 5 March

Kazeem Famuyide had earlier reported that Lashley had been carrying a shoulder injury for a while and was taken out of Elimination Chamber with a storyline concussion.

The former champion is expected to be out for four months, meaning he will probably will WrestleMania, let alone the 5 March live event.

It will be interesting to see who could step up and replace Lashley, but WWE has to ensure that Lesnar remains the champion.

Lesnar vs Reigns at WrestleMania is the match that a lot of people want to see. A champion vs champion clash isn’t normal for Mania, and this would pit possibly the two biggest male WWE stars against each other on the grandest stage.
