“That’s money” – Booker T dismisses Shinsuke Nakamura as next Roman Reigns rival for this Raw star

Booker T does not mind Bobby Lashley taking on Roman Reigns on WWE

Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns look like unbeatable champions at the moment. ‘The Tribal Chief’ has not lost on SmackDown in ages as he keeps hold of the WWE Universal title.

As for The Hurt Business member, Lashley, fans thought that him winning the title suddenly after his United States championship reign meant that he would lose it pretty soon too.

The Almighty Reign is here to stay and despite an unlucky loss to Kofi Kingston on this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW, Lashley seems like he is not going to let the belt leave his shoulders.

Coming back to Reigns, he dismantled Cesaro in the title match at Backlash, leading many to question who dares to stand in The Big Dog’s path next- a trail already littered with big names like Edge, Daniel Bryan, and Kevin Owens in the past few months.

Booker T wants Bobby Lashley vs Roman Reigns

According to Booker T, who was talking on the latest edition of the Hall of Fame podcast on YouTube, Reigns should take on Lashley next.

A fan suggested if Shinsuke Nakamura with his Japanese strongstyle was the perfect opponent for Reigns. Booker disagreed and stated how a fight with Lashley would be ‘money’ for the promotion.

“Personally, I’m not a big Shinsuke fan as far as him being able to match up properly with Roman Reigns. I just don’t see that. But I do see a[n] inter, cross-promotion championship match with the number 1 guy from The Hurt Business, the CEO, and that’s Bobby Lashley. Just taking over the whole d**n wrestling world by going over there and beating Roman Reigns and doing something that even I, King Booker, can achieve. That’s money!”

This fight would be one for the ages but then again, the question arises if WWE built up Reigns’ ‘Tribal Chief’ persona only to surrender it to Bobby Lashley. The two have fought before in RAW and a rematch could always be possible.

The WWE champion deserves to be at the top, don’t get us wrong. But is he worth giving up Reigns’ character for? Not really.
