Brock Lesnar is a loner in WWE but a sister angle could have been fun with Beth Phoenix
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix might have had one of two major injuries in her career, but there is no doubting she was one of the best in the ring.
The Glamazon won several titles during her WWE run and she is now doing a bang up job as a commentator on WWE NXT.
Phoenix, who is also the wife of Edge, was different to the women wrestling when she made her debut. She was excellent in the ring and dominated most of her opponents. The Glamazon also had an incredible physique which made her stand out.
However, Phoenix recently revealed she pitched herself to be the sister of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was already one of the top talents in WWE. Phoenix’s pitch didn’t work, but credit must be given as she tried.
“Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWE extra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL.”
A dominant brother-sister team in WWE?
Lesnar and Phoenix could have been a great combo in WWE but it might have diminished both of their individual careers.
WWE would have had to built a separate storyline to accommodate this Lesnar-Phoenix relationship.
Nevertheless, Phoenix and Lesnar have etched their names in WWE history. While Phoenix isn’t wrestling anymore, she is still a stalwart in the business.
Lesnar has been in action for close to 20 years and he is still filling up seats. He recently fought Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal title but lost out.
However, he got suspended the next night and was also fined $1million for attacking several WWE officials.
