Simone Johnson recently signed for the WWE and is at the Performance Center
Former WWE Divas champion Paige and Renee Young are excited with the signing of Simone Johnson.
For those not in the know, Johnson is the daughter of WWE legend The Rock. The 18-year-old comes from a wrestling background with The Rock’s father and grandfather being Hall of Famers.
That is a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the teenager but Paige highlighted someone she could look up to:
“She has to be like Charlotte.
“I feel like Charlotte would be the best to give her advice. Because she has to be able to step out of her dad’s shadow, and that’s going to be a tough journey for her.”
Charlotte is the daughter of legendary wrestler Ric Flair, but the Queen has been able to make a place for herself in the business.
There are comparisons to the great Flair from time to time, something that will happen with Simone. However, she does have a lot of level-headed people with her.
Family to the rescue for Simone
Paige and Young were quick to add that Simone is focused and knows what she wants. The pair also agreed that she was extremely mature and had the work ethic of The Rock’s.
Paige went on to say that Simone’s mother, Dany Garcia is one of the smartest women and great at the business side of things.
Having The Rock and Garcia beside her would help the 18-year-old as she rises up the ranks:
“She has two amazing influences to hold and guide her.”
Paige also went on to say that there was one family member who could help Simone in WWE too:
“She has family there, she does have Nia Jax to be like her eyes as well.”
Simone has a lot to do if she wants to make it big in the ring. However, having the right people around her is important too.
Thankfully, she does have a great support system, and it will be interesting to see how she does in the Performance Center over the next few weeks.
