AJ Styles won his first tag titles in WWE and became the latest Grand Slam champion at WrestleMania 37

Omos was the deciding factor in the Raw tag title match as the New Day lost. The behemoth had done a great job as the body guard of AJ Styles.

However, this was his official debut in the ring and the giant did his bit. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston tried their bit but Omos destroyed both of them single-handedly.

Styles was there to bask in the glory as he won the tag titles in WWE for the first time. This was also a historic moment for the Phenomenal One as he became the latest WWE Grand Slam champion.

However, Styles created a bit of history ion all this. Styles didn’t become the first to hit the Grand Slam mark but his path to do that was certainly historic.

AJ Styles takes a different route to the Grand Slam

Styles, who spent most of his career away from WWE, stared off his time with the new promotion by winning the biggest title.

He first won the WWE title then went on to win the US and Intercontinental ones. The tag title was another feather in the cap for the hugely talented star but normally, people start by winning the other titles and work up to the top.

Styles still is one of the best in the business and it was great to see him complete the Grand Slam. Not many have achieved this feat and it will be interesting to see who the rivals for Omos and Styles are.

The pair seem unstoppable, especially thanks to Omos. The giant certainly looked good in the ring and his size will be a huge factor for the new tag champions.
