Mia Yim confirmed she tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the Royal Rumble 2021

The 2021 Royal Rumble is just a day away but WWE will not see Mia Yim in action during the show.

The HBIC posted on social media that she tested positive for Covid-19, despite getting tested several times in the past.

She was debunking a rumour of her testing positive, but it seems she actually has the virus now. Yim could have been competing in the women’s Royal Rumble. WWE didn’t confirm all the 30 female competitors for the clash but Yim could have taken up one of the slots.

Yim is known for her run on NXT but she never won the title. She was called the Head Baddie in Charge (HBIC) before moving to Raw and joining Retribution.

Yim was one of the female members of the group and is now known as Reckoning. Mercedes Martinez was the other female member but she was sent back to NXT and has given up the Retribution mask.

However, Yim might not be the only star missing the show. While she is confirmed to be out, one male star could be missing from the show too.

Is Keith Lee missing the Royal Rumble after Mia Yim tested positive for Covid-19?

Yim and WWE star Keith Lee are in a relationship and have posted a lot of photos together. It is unclear if Lee has also tested positive for Covid-19 but if he was in contact with Yim over the past few days, he would have to follow isolation protocols.

There has been no statement from Lee and it will be interesting to see if WWE confirm his situation. Lee was one of the rising stars on Raw and could have done well at the Rumble. WWE didn’t confirm Lee’s place in the Rumble either but he could have been one of the surprises on the show.

Braun Strowman made a huge impact on SmackDown and seems ready for the Rumble. The other big talking point was Randy Orton and Edge being #1 and #2 in the Rumble, respectively, which was announced on WWE Backstage.
