WWE Gossip: When will Tyson Fury next fight in the WWE?

WWE Crown Jewel had some hits and misses, like most of the specials from the wrestling promotion.

One of the biggest talking points was the match between Natalya and Lacey Evans, a first all-female match in Saudi Arabia.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt defeating Seth Rollins for the Universal title was another top match while there was some fun with the 5v5 match featuring Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair too.

There were two big matches involving non-WWE stars like Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez were set to face Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar respectively.

Velasquez lost his fight to Lesnar in a few minutes as Rey Mysterio was also involved in the clash, while the boxer Fury did extremely well.

The British boxer certainly left no stone unturned when coming down the ramp for the fight. He came down wearing a robe which the locals were and he didn’t seem out of place at the start of the match.

The former heavyweight champion of the world put in some great hits on Strowman and even reversed one of his drive-bys outside the ring.

There was one incredible moment when Fury just got up after being slammed to the floor by the Monster.

The 31-year-old was able to knock Strowman outside the ring and picked up the win via countout.

It was a bit of an unexpected result given that Fury had never wrestled in the ring, but the WWE has a history of putting up such exhibition matches involving celebrities.

Does Fury have a future in the WWE?

The boxer is undefeated in the WWE and has beaten one of the top stars in the company, so when will Tyson Fury next fight in the promotion?

It seems unlikely that he will return anytime soon as the British star wants to concentrate on his rematch with the current WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (h/t BBC).

The BBC adds that Fury didn’t rule out a future match in the WWE, however, his focus is on Wilder too.

The one-off match certainly was great for the boxer as he earned £12m from his appearance in Saudi Arabia (h/t BBC).

The story between the pair had been building up for a number of weeks, and the match might not remain in the memory for great spots or reverses.

However, catching hold of one of the top boxers in his prime and getting him to perform in a foreign country certainly was great from the WWE.

It will be interesting to see how Fury does in his rematch against Wilder, and who knows what his plans are after that clash.
