Iga Swiatek

The world No. 1 has been on song at the tournament and has qualified for the semifinals after winning both her matches convincingly.

The 21-year-old began her campaign at the WTA Finals against Daria Kasatkina. Swiatek blew away her opponent, winning two sets comprehensively. The match ended 6-2, 6-3 in favor of the top seed. In the second match, Swiatek faced Caroline Garcia. This was another one-sided affair and Swiatek got the better of the Frenchwoman in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 and sealed the top spot in the group.

Coco Gauff

The 18-year-old has had a disappointing campaign, both in the singles event as well as the doubles. She has the chance to go out on a high with a win against Swiatek. It will not be easy though. Gauff has lost both her matches so far in straight sets.
