Wolves prediction: Probable Wolves XI to face West Ham

Wolves travel to London as they take on West ham in the London Stadium on Saturday when the Premier League resumes.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have been brilliant throughout the campaign and are currently 6th in the league table. They would be hoping to fare better after a long break and nothing but a win would keep their hopes of making it into the top four alive.

However, David Moyes’ West Ham are placed low in the table and they would be hoping to salvage a point in their attempt to move to a higher position.

Team News

Nuno has almost every player available for the fixture on Saturday except for Morgan Gibbs-White. He has struggled with fitness issues and is doubtful for the game against the Hammers. Wolves don’t have any players suspended.

Predicted Wolves XI

Formation: 3-4-3

Rui Patricio (GK)

The Portuguese shot-stopper is one of the key reasons for Wolves’ success in the past two seasons. He is the first-choice shot-stopper and will retain his spot in goal.

Roman Saiss (RCB)

Saiss has been a regular member under Nuno and has featured in 25 games so far. He has also contributed with 2 goals and 1 assist and is expected to start against the Hammers.

Conor Coady (CB)

The Liverpool-born centre-back has featured in every possible minute in the Premier League this term and has led the team brilliantly. He would be an undoubted starter on Saturday.

Willy Boly (LCB)

The Frenchman returned to the squad a few games prior to the lockdown after struggling with an injury. His presence would be a massive boost to the team.

Matt Docherty (RWB)

Apart from defending, he has played a crucial role at the other end of the pitch with 4 goals and 2 assists. He is expected to start and needs to be at his best against the Hammers.

Joao Moutinho (CM)

A reliable midfielder, Moutinho’s experience has so far been of great help to the squad. He has provided 6 assists so far and will be key in unlocking West Ham’s defence.

Ruben Neves (CM)

The Portuguese midfielder has featured in every game so far and will be expected to break the opponent’s attack. He has been solid in the deep-lying role and is also capable of banging in goals from range.

Ruben Vinagre (RCM)

The 21-year-old has started ahead of Jonny Otto in the last two games. He has been brilliant so far in the limited opportunities he has received and should get the nod once more ahead of the Spaniard.

Adama Traore (RW)

The former Barcelona man has emerged as a top player due to his exploits for Wolves this season. He is an undoubted starter and should be able to link up well with the other forwards.

Diogo Jota (RW)

Jota is the team’s second-highest scorer with 6 goals so far. He has played the supporting role in a good manner and his link-up with Jimenez would be crucial for this fixture.
