Many would agree that Andrew Luck was the real deal, who was blessed with a cannon of an arm and underrated rushing ability before his ugly and sudden shoulder injury. Just as Luck was approaching his prime and was looking all set to take over the league, he unceremoniously retired from the league at just the age of 29.

Named as the Comeback Player of the Year, the Indianapolis Colts already had plans off bolstering the offensive lineup around Andrew Luck. On the same note, his retirement decision caused due to injuries shocked not only the management but the entire sports world.

What is Andrew Luck doing now?

Andrew Luck missed a full season and a half in total during his career and was banged up in most of the games he played. Having had immense amount of talent, it seemed like Luck’s offensive and passing prowess was hampered due to his nightmarish string of injuries.

In his press conference, wherein he announced his decision, Luck quoted, “I’ve been stuck in this process; I haven’t been able to live the life I want. It’s taken the joy out of this game. The only way forward for me is to remove myself from football. This is not an easy decision. It’s the hardest decision of my life. But it is the right decision for me.”
