Who is Damion Lee?
Damion Lee currently plays in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns. But his NBA journey has been quite the ride.
Before playing in the NBA, Damion played college basketball for Drexel University and the University of Louisville.
After playing college basketball for four years, Lee entered the 2016 NBA Draft. However, in the 2016 NBA Draft, Lee, unfortunately, went undrafted.
After going undrafted, Lee spent a lot of time in the NBA G-League. In the G-League, Lee played for Maine Red Claws and later for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Nevertheless, in 2018, Lee achieved his big break. In 2018, Lee signed for the Atlanta Hawks and thus made his NBA debut.
Then on July 14, 2018, Lee signed a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors, thus playing both for Golden State and Santa Cruz in the G-League. On January 15, 2020, the Golden State Warriors finally signed Lee to a multi-year contract.
Next, in 2022, Lee became an NBA champion while playing for the Golden State Warriors.
After his Warriors contract ended, Lee signed with the Phoenix Suns. As of now, Lee plays for the Suns.
