Omos has appeared on WWE in recent times as the bodyguard of AJ Styles

AJ Styles has been accompanied by a bodyguard since October this year, leaving many to wonder about the identity of ‘Omos’.

Omos’ real name is Jordan Omogbehin. He was born in the capital city of Nigeria before moving to the United States of America.

This is not the first time that Omogbehin has appeared on WWE and has in fact been a part of it for a while.

Omos, with a height of 7’3″, has been with the promotion since NXT boss Triple H signed him in 2018. He was then assigned to the WWE Performance Center to hone his wrestling skills.

He has previously appeared as Shane McMahon’s RAW Underground bouncer and Akira Tozawa’s ‘Giant Ninja’, where he was introduced as the tallest member of the ninja faction. It is clear that WWE has big plans for him.

Omos has appeared fairly regularly on the red brand in recent times. It seems as if WWE wants him to get some screen time before going on a solo streak.

The brand also handed the former NXT developmental star his singles debut against The Big Show on WWE RAW in June 2020.

The name ‘Omos’ was first used by the promotion on 2020 Survivor Series and the name has since stuck.

Omos, the bodyguard of AJ Styles, has a towering height

Omos has a magnanimous height of 7 feet and 3 inches. This makes him one of the tallest WWE stars in the history of the promotion.

In fact, he falls 3rd in the list of the tallest WWE wrestlers. Omos is taller than Kane, Big Show, The Great Khali and even Giant Silva.

The only WWE wrestlers taller than him have been Andre the Giant (7 ft 4 in) and Giant Gonzalez (who was billed by WWE as 8 ft tall).

Omos was not a wrestler before Triple H discovered him 2 years ago. He played basketball at University of South Florida (USF) and Morgan State University (MSU).

WWE has had several confrontations for the 7’3″ Nigerian with other WWE stars, but nothing solid has developed as of late.

It will be interesting to see how WWE develops his role. Omos has not seen much direct involvement as Style’s bodyguard as of now but can be sprung into action sooner rather than later.

Omos’ height has captured the attention of the WWE Universe and has made the Nigerian star one of the trending names recently.
