Manny Machado is one of the best baseball players in the world, who plays for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball (MLB). Although he was born in Miami, his family is originally from the Dominican Republic.

He has been married to Yainee Alonso since 2014, and the two of them have been seen quite frequently attending different events together over the course of the years. The year 2011 marked the beginning of the couple’s courtship, and four years later, in December 2014, they wed in a beautiful ceremony in France.

Her parents Luis and Damaris Alonso were already residents of Cuba at the time of Alonso’s birth in Havana. Her father was a member of Industriales, a team that competed in the Cuban National Series, and he also coached the team. In 1996, the family made the dangerous journey from Cuba to Miami, where they eventually made their home.

The brother of Yainee Alonso is a former Major League Baseball player who is currently working in the broadcast booth. He was a player for a number of different teams, including the San Diego Padres and the Cincinnati Reds. The former first baseman became an analyst for MLB Network in April 2021, shortly after joining the network’s roster of on-air personalities in that capacity.

Alonso received her bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine from the University of Miami in December 2012; her brother also attended this university and played baseball there. While she was a resident of Miami, she cheered for the Miami Marlins as a member of the Mermaids cheerleading squad.

Machado first became acquainted with Alonso as a result of the latter’s friendship with Machado’s brother. The first time Manny Machado and Alonso met was in 2009, when Machado was still a teenager, and the two baseball players quickly became close friends.

Manny Machado was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the first round of the Major League Baseball (MLB) draft that took place in 2010 with the third overall pick. Even though he was only 17 years old when the draught took place, he was already being looked at as one of the most potentially fruitful options available in the draught class. Machado debuted with the Orioles in the Major League Baseball on August 9, 2012, making his debut with the organization. Soon after, he became widely recognized as one of the youngest athletes in the sport who possesses the greatest potential.

Machado made his debut in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Baltimore Orioles on August 9, 2012, when he was 20 years old. At the time, Machado was only 20 years old. During that season, he had a batting average of.262, along with seven home runs and 26 RBIs, and he played in a total of 51 games.

Later on, Machado solidified his position as one of the best young players in the league over the course of the subsequent few seasons, during which he won a Gold Glove award in 2013 and was selected for the All-Star squad in both 2013 and 2015. In addition, he was named to the All-Star squad in both 2013 and 2015.

The outstanding play of Machado carried over into the 2016 Major League Baseball season, during which he established a new career high with 37 home runs and finished in fifth place in the voting for American League MVP. In 2017, he finished with a batting average of.259, in addition to recording 33 home runs and 95 RBI.

After being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in July of that year, Machado was an important part of the reason why the Dodgers were able to advance all the way to the World Series in 2018. While playing for the Dodgers, he appeared in 66 games and had a batting average of.273, hit 13 home runs, and drove in 42 runs.

Machado signed a contract with the San Diego Padres in February of 2019 that was worth $300 million spread out over the course of 10 years. He had a batting average of.256 in his first season with the Padres, during which he also hit 32 home runs and drove in 85 runs. After that, he had another successful season in 2020, during which he posted a batting average of.304, along with 16 home runs and 47 RBIs.
