Montez Ford collapsed during his match on WWE Raw this Monday with allegations of getting poisoned
WWE Superstar Montez Ford had an awkward moment on Raw this Monday night.
Ford and his partner Angelo Dawkins, The Street Profits, are the Raw Tag Team Champions. They are penned to defend their titles against the team of Angel Garza and Andrade later this month at SummerSlam.
Building up to that event, on Monday’s episode of Raw, Ford and Dawkins were supposed to square off against Garza and Andrade in one-on-one matches respectively.
What happened to Montez Ford?
During Dawkins’ fight against Garza, there was a moment towards the end of the match when Ford collapsed at ringside. The distraction caused Dawkins to lose the match.
While he got up and shook it off to take on Andrade in his singles bout, Ford collapsed again, which led to the match getting abruptly halted as referees and trainers ran out to check on him.

Following the incident, Dawkins, in a backstage segment, revealed that medics believe Ford had been poisoned.
Naturally, this enraged Ford’s wife Bianca Belair. The EST of WWE confronted Garza and Andrade’s manager Zelina Vega, and told her to come clean if she tried to poison Ford.

Vega, then, denied to any wrongdoing, but Belair claimed that she would find out who was behind this. After Raw went off air, Belair posted a tweet where she hit out at Vega. The message read:
“See… I get to #WWERAW and try to be all professional, focus on my career, and handle my business but this lil girl failed to realize that @MontezFordWWE is MY BUSINESS! He not gona put these hands on you but I will. @Zelina_VegaWWE you not innocent.”
It will be interesting to see what this leads to. Vega, for most of her time on the main roster, hasn’t wrestled a great deal. But, it looks like she’ll be entering a feud with Belair, who has had little to do since she moved to Raw from NXT.
As far is Ford is concerned, we can expect an update on his situation on Raw next week, as things heat up ahead of the Street Profits’ tag team title defence against Garza and Andrade.
The rivalry has escalated further with Bianca Belair calling out Zelina Vega. Garza, for his part, has also claimed that Ford was fibbing about the poisoning in an attempt to avoid their clash at SummerSlam.
