When did Chris Daukaus make his UFC debut?

A former police officer, Chris Daukaus is an American mixed martial artist that is currently ranked number 9 in the heavyweight division.

He started training in mixed martial arts a year before he enrolled on the police academy following the footsteps of his father who was also a police officer. Chris is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Martinez.

After facing some initial setbacks with two losses in his first four fights as a professional mixed martial artist, Chris bounced back with five straight victories, four of which were finishes.

Although he lost his Cage Fury heavyweight title championship fight against Azunna Anyanwu. the UFC still saw the immense potential in him and signed him eventually.

Chris Daukaus made his UFC debut at UFC 252

Daukaus made his UFC debut at UFC 252 against Parker Porter. He won the fight by TKO in the very first round against a very durable and tough Porter. He showed some really slick movements and great promise on his debut.

He went on to win three more fights, all by finishes making him 4-0 inside the UFC octagon. However, his impressive run got derailed by the knockout king Derrick Lewis, who knocked him out inside the first round.

Currently his record stands at an impressive 4-1 in the talent-stacked heavyweight division, as he prepares to take on number 4th ranked heavyweight Curtis Blaydes.
