English mixed martial artist Arnold Allen will be in the spotlight this weekend when he takes on Dan Hooker in a featured co-main bout at UFC London

Arnold Allen began training in mixed martial arts as a teenager and took part in several amateur fights before turning professional in 2012. He made his professional debut competing as a featherweight for various regional promotions across Great Britain, including a stint in Cage Warriors. He went an impressive 9–1 in his first three years along the way.

He made his UFC debut against Yaotzin Meza back in 2016, and won the fight by unanimous decision. Allen has won all 7 of his bouts inside the UFC octagon, which has affixed his position as a formidable name in the division.

His overall record stands at an impressive 17-1, with the one loss coming via decision. He has never been finished inside the octagon, and a victory against a veteran like Dan Hooker will propel his career further- into the top5 of the division.

English featherweight Arnold “Almighty” Allen is one of the most electrifying young prospects in the UK and a no.7 ranked featherweight in the UFC.

With an impressive record, the young sensation is tipped to be a problem to a lot of fighters in the 145 lbs. division. He is a purple belt in jiu-jitsu and has a daunting ground game.

Hailing from Trimley St-Martin in Suffolk, he trains out of BKK Fighters and Tristar Gym. He trains under Firas Zihabi at Tristar Gym, one of the greatest minds in the sport famous for training UFC legend George St. Pierre. Ahead of his UFC London fight against Dan Hooker, he did a camp with Leon Edwards and his team at Renegade MMA.
