Let us know more about the current NBA Power Rankings

While few teams including Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, and others have seen their defense peak at an impressive rate. Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, and the Golden State Warriors have done a wonderful job this season, with their offenses. With players like Stephen Curry, Ja Morant, Jordan Poole, Dejounte Murray, and others at play, we’ve seen some variations in the latest NBA power rankings. So let’s read further to learn who takes the top:

Rank 5: Brooklyn Nets in the NBA Power Rankings

Starting with the 5th ranking, Kevin Durant has done an able job in helping the Brooklyn Nets rise in the rankings, especially with his offensive skills. It isn’t surprising seeing how the recent big game between the warriors and nets resulted in Durant averaging a 25 pointer per game with a shooting percentage of around 68%, which is even better than leading player Curry.

Rank 4: Milwaukee Bucks

Dropping from last week’s third rank, the Milwaukee Bucks still have shown quite the performance on-court this season. They have shown some game-changing record performance this season, outscoring both the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks this week. Contrary to their prior performance, this week we have seen that the most wins by Bucks have been where they have allowed their opponent to score 3s. Outperforming most teams, the only team we saw do better from the 3-point range were the Miami Heat.

Rank 3: Utah Jazz

Utah Jazz‘s performance this week has simply been astounding, where they have successfully won seven games straight risking from the 6th ranking to the 3rd in a matter of no time. Their points per 100 possessions are above 130 which no other team has been able to top. While their shooting percentage last season was ranked 14th, currently with 61.1% they are easily one of the best in the league. Their offenses lately have been the topic of discussion for the crowd and are truly some of the best we’ve seen.

Rank 2: Golden State Warriors

While Stephen Curry has been the reason why no other team could occupy the Golden State Warrior’s top NBA power rankings, it finally took a step down this week. However, his performance hasn’t yet been disappointing and we anticipate that he might just overturn Ray Allen’s 3-point goal record and take the place himself. However, the drop in the ranking, isn’t a matter of worry with their guard Jordan Poole’s striking and consistent improvement, with also player Klay Thompson returning in a few weeks after a total of 2 and a half years.

Rank 1: Phoenix Suns

Rising to the top this week from the second rank, the Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker has shown quite the gameplay on the court and is close to becoming the Sun’s leader with his record 3-point field goals. Moreover, not every team can maintain an 18-game winning streak like the Phoenix Suns. Although the fight for the top power ranking between the Suns and the Warriors is still on, this week it seems it’s in the favor of the suns.

With this, we come at the end of our list for the top 5 NBA power rankings, as affirmed according to the latest reports by the NBA.
