Brandon Royval vs Brandon Moreno ended early but Royval had to deal with a dislocated shoulder

Brandon Royval vs Brandon Moreno had all the ingredients to be a top fight at UFC 255. Both came into this clash with great battles in their resume and many expected this to be the Fight of the Night.

However, the fight ended early with Moreno getting the win via TKO. He had Royval caught up and pummelling him with punches before the referee stepped in.

Royval seemed to be in a lot of pain right after the end and he was holding his right hand.

It was later seen that Royval had dislocated his shoulder during the fight and the next event was more gruesome.

Royval seemed to be in a lot of pain but his coach decided to do something to fix it. In a sight that most sportspeople have seen or gone through, the coach put the popped shoulder back in place.

Popping a dislocated shoulder back into place is a little painful but prompt work on this seems to have worked on the 28-year-old.

Expecting to be back soon

Dana White also reacted to this injury and claimed that it was horrible to lose in this manner. However, the UFC president backed Royval to return and suggested that he would be cleared in 10 days.

The loss ended Royval’s four-fight win streak and he now has an MMA record of 12 wins and five losses.

Moreno, for his part, moved to 18 and five in his MMA career and he also has one draw to his name. The 26-year-old hasn’t lost in his last five fights and it will be interesting to see what is next for the Flyweight.
