Angela Hill vs Claudia Gadelha was a close fight at UFC Fight Night 176
UFC Women’s Strawweight star Angela Hill was not happy with the decision against Claudia Gadelha at Fight Night 176.
The American lost the first round to Gadelha but made a stellar comeback in the second and third rounds. It was always going to be a tough decision for the judges to make, especially with a lot of punches thrown in the final two rounds.
However, they sided with the Brazilian and that got Hill upset. She shared an expletive as soon as the decision was shared, and her frustration was understandable.

Gadelha did suffer some brutal hits from Hill. The Brazilian was also bleeding from a couple of spots on the face, and she admitted that her opponent was a tough fighter but believed she did enough for the win.
Hill was left upset at the result and didn’t say much as her post-fight interview did not take place.
Hill misses a chance
The American is now 12-8 in her MMA career and this was a chance to record her fourth straight win on the trot.
Hill hasn’t fought for the Strawweight title so far in her MMA career. However, Gadelha could be thinking of a possible future clash.
The Brazilian fought for the title in 2016 against Joanna Jedrzejczyk but lost. She hasn’t been involved in the running for the crown since, but this win could give her a bit of a boost.
Gadelha moves to 18-4 in her MMA career, and it will be interesting to see what is next for the Brazilian.
Zhang Weili is the champion in the division. However, the Chinese star hasn’t fought since defeating Joanna a few months back.
