Valentina ‘The Bullet’ Shevchenko has won several titles in her fighting career. The 32-year-old is the current UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion and is considered as one of the greatest female athletes of all-time.

Shevchenko has also won titles during her kickboxing career and this runs in the family. Her older sister, Antonina, also fights in the UFC while her mother, Elena was one reason why Valentina got into MMA.

However, there was more to celebrate for the Shevchenko household as Elena won a shadow boxing title in Muay Thai.

Valentina was quick to congratulate her mother and even posted a video of the same:

“Congratulations to my dear mom , President of Kyrgyzstan Muaythai Federation, Elena!

“She became World Champion in Virtual IFMA Muaythai Championship 2020 in Shadow Boxing”

It is incredible that Elena is still picking up titles while her daughters do the business in the UFC.

Set to defend the title

While Elena can celebrate picking up this title, Valentina and Antonina are in action at UFC 255.

Antonina takes on rising star Ariane Lipski in her next fight and that should be a great battle. However, Valentina faces Jennifer Maia as The Bullet defends her UFC gold.

Valentina won the vacant UFC Flyweight title and has defended it successfully thrice in her career so far. Another win will further cement her legacy in MMA and she is still keen on getting one loss off her record.

Amanda Nunes is the only star to have defeated Valentina in the UFC and the Bullet has lost both matches against the Brazilian.

Valentina was open to meeting Nunes for the third time, and it will be interesting to see when this clash could take place.
