Stephen Thompson had a few facial injuries after his win over Geoff Neal at the final UFC event but also picked up a knee injury in all this

The final UFC event of the year saw Stephen Thompson dominate Geoff Neal in the main clash.

Thompson was incredible in the fight, despite getting cut open after an accidental headbutt. Neal too was left bleeding and both stars needed some medical attention as they fought all five rounds.

In the end, it was Thompson who got the win but there was a scary moment for him during the final rounds of the clash.

Wonderboy seemed to have injured his knee and was struggling to move about. He couldn’t even kick with his right knee and was asked about this after the win.

Wonderboy claimed that there wasn’t much wrong with it and a fan also asked him about it on an Instagram post.

While Thompson had several cuts and bruises on his face, he claimed that his knee was fine.

Ready for his next fight

Thompson was more than ready for his next fight and called out Jorge Masvidal. While Wonderboy has a win over Masvidal, he wanted a rematch.

Masvidal is a big star now and another win for Wonderboy over Gamebred could bring him back into the title scene.

Thompson also claimed that he was coming for the title in 2021 and it will be interesting to see who he fights next.

Masvidal was to face Colby Covington, and he hinted that 2021 had some unfinished business for him. Gamebred is coming off a loss to Kamaru Usman for the UFC Welterweight title but he took the fight on short-notice.

Masvidal hasn’t fought since that loss but 2021 could be a stellar year for the Welterweight division.
