Cory Sandhagen awaits the returning TJ Dillashaw in the main event of UFC Vegas 32, which kicks off in a few hours. This will be Dillashaw’s first fight in more than 2 years.

The number 2 ranked bantamweight contender, Sandhagen, will be looking forward to foiling the former two-time bantamweight champion’s return, as he plans to get that title shot in a jam-packed division. He is coming off a flying knee knockout win over veteran Frankie Edgar.

In a recent interview with James Lynch, Sandhagen revealed one particular person whom he would have liked to have by his corner during his fight against TJ Dillashaw.

Sandhagen named Internet sensation Hasbulla Magomedov who has been ruling the Internet over the last couple of months.

‘The Sandman’ told Lynch:

“I am a really big Hasbulla fan. I kinda wanna have Hasbulla in the corner…That would be cool to have that guy in the corner.”

Cory Sandhagen reveals why he wouldn’t have had Hasbulla by his corner, “realistically”

Sandhagen was then asked if he had made any requests to Hasbulla to be by his corner.

He claimed that he wouldn’t be requesting Hasbulla to be by his corner because it would make fighting seem like a joke and also would be a distraction to him.

Sandhagen replied:

“I don’t think I will realistically, only because I don’t see fighting as like, a joke, you know? I think that would be very jokey, so to have that actually be the case, I think would probably distract me in the back.”
