‘The Italian Dream’ Marvin Vettori has a manager who never gives up on him

Ali Abdelaziz manages a legion of legendary fighters. The Dominance MMA Management CEO’s clientele is so high-profile that it shines brighter than VY Canis Majoris.

One among the list of fighters he manages is Marvin Vettori. ‘The Italian Dream’ will be taking on Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title at UFC 263.

This will be the pair’s second meeting, after having previously met at UFC on Fox: Poirier vs Gaethje, back in April 2018. Adesanya won the fight via. a narrow split decision.

With only a couple of days left for the fight, Abdelaziz took to Twitter to warn the MMA community and Adesanya that his client Vettori is on a whole another level now.

He wrote:

“Israel great champion I have a Lotta respect for him Marvin different level now.”

Vettori’s ground game has become impeccable of late. The Italian is coming off a takedown-rich win over Kevin Holland at UFC on ABC 2, a couple of months ago.

Vettori executed a stunning 11 takedowns (middleweight record) on his way to a unanimous decision victory over Holland.

Israel Adesanya claims Marvin Vettori was terrified in a recent hotel run-in

With the fight only a few days away, the fighters have arrived at the hotel. Adesanya recently detailed a hotel run-in with Vettori after coming down the elevator.

Izzy claimed that Vettori was petrified when he waved at him, and kept looking back at him (Izzy) without switching gaze.

Adesanya told THEMACLIFE:

“When I was on the elevator…I get downstairs and I see the security get tensed…I look to my right and I see Leon Edwards…I look again and Marvin’s on the other side, I said- ‘Oh, Hey!’ [waves]. And then I waved at him, and he looked petrified. He kept on looking back [at me].”
