Top-ranked welterweight Leon Edwards ripped into Jorge Masvidal after Gamebred suffered a devastating KO loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 261.

Jorge Masvidal was knocked out for the first time in his long UFC career. A blistering Kamaru Usman’s straight right hand caused the hard-as-nails Gamebred to lay motionless.

Barring a controversial TKO loss to Rodrigo Damm way back in 2008, Masvidal had hardly been rocked in his fights, thanks to his granite chin. But UFC 261 had different plans, as another fighter was removed from the list of fighters to have never been finished.

Despite coming off a full training camp, Masvidal put on a poorer showing than he did, when he faced Usman the last time at UFC 251.
