It took a legion of securities to bring the situation under control.

In a recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Khabib revealed why he attacked Danis. ‘The Eagle of Dagestan’ took a page out of Tyson’s book quoting something on the lines of ‘Iron Mike’s furious callout of Lennox Lewis.

Khabib said:

“Oh, I have to bite his [Danis] heart [Khabib’s thoughts after jumping out of the cage]…I really wanna bite his heart.”

The fight took place in October 2018. Only 6 months before UFC 229, a nasty bus attack took place. McGregor had attacked a bus carrying Khabib and his teammates after Khabib confronted McGregor’s friend Artem Lobov.

This led to massive bad blood between McGregor and Khabib. Dillon Danis had fanned the flames by disrespecting Khabib’s entire crew which led to further rage amidst the Dagestanis.
