Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are arguably the greatest ever football players of all time. With innumerous accolades to their name, there is nothing the two stars haven’t achieved (barring the World Cup).

Stellar performances week in, week out since time immemorial gave birth to one of the biggest sporting debates of all time – Who’s the GOAT? – Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.

While it’s hard settling the debate, well-known stars and fans come up with their opinion about why they think either one of them is the GOAT.

In a recent interview with RT Sport, UFC Lightweight ‘GOAT’ Khabib Nurmagomedov weighed-in on the GOAT debate when he was asked to pick between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

While Khabib did acknowledge the greatness of Lionel Messi, he felt that Ronaldo had the edge because the Manchester United star had “more charisma.”

The Dagestani was quoted as saying:

“Yes, I do…Well, Messi plays very well, too. He is one of the best ever. I think they are on the same level skillwise, but Cristiano has more charisma.” [RT Sport YouTube]

Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals why Cristiano Ronaldo left Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo recently joined Manchester United from Juventus in the last week of the Transfer Window.

The Portugal Ace returned to United after 12 years, and Khabib Nurmagomedov seemed to know why the 36-year old left.

The Russian told RT Sport that Ronaldo was bored in Italy. Speaking of which he said:

“I don’t know. I wouldn’t like to reveal out private chat. Well, he told me that he was bored in Italy, and he would like to move to England.” [RT SPORT YouTube]
