Kayla Harrison, who is two-time PFL women’s champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, is the biggest female superstar outside of the UFC. She was on a crusade to dethrone the UFC bantamweight and featherweight queen Amanda Nunes, who however lost her bantamweight gold to a gritty Julianna Pena.

She has now set her sights on Juliana Pena, considering Pena’s willingness to go to the featherweight division.

Speaking to MMA Junkie she said,

“I was kind of talking sh*t being goofy,” Harrison told MMA Junkie. “My goal is obviously not to fight at 135 pounds. … I have to watch what I say from now on. Obviously, I want to fight the best in the world. Julianna is now considered a top dog, but I also heard that she would fight me at 145 for the right amount of money, so I probably won’t have to fight 135.

“I just want to challenge myself and continue to grow as a fighter, continue to grow as a human being, and continue to get better. Do I want to fight at 135? F*ck no. No, of course not.” [via MMA Junkie]

Fans are eagerly waiting for Kayla to sign with the UFC and test herself inside the UFC octagon against elite competition.

Juliana Pena makes an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres’ show

The latest episode of The Ellen Show featured UFC’s new bantamweight queen, Julianna Pena, in a never seen before form.

Pena has had a crazy couple of months. From scripting one of the greatest upsets in UFC history to now being in the prime time spotlight ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ has come a long way.

She also touched upon her rematch with Amanda Nunes while having a conversation with guest host Mark Lopez, who’s a big fan of the sport himself.

It’s a big step in terms of popularity and household name recognition for the champion having featured in one of America’s most favorite talk shows.
