Jolie Poirier didn’t hold back as she showed the middle finger to a broken and raging Conor McGregor
UFC 264: Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 had one of the most unexpected endings one would ever witness.
After a barrage of exchanges from both the fighters in the first half of the 1st round, the fight went to the ground for the latter half.
A failed guillotine attempt from McGregor resulted in Poirier gaining the upper hand. ‘The Diamond’ began pummeling McGregor with his nasty elbows and ground strikes, even as ‘The Irishman’ held on.
During the last fifteen seconds of the round, both the fighters got back up on their feet, and began trading strikes once again. That’s when McGregor landed on his left ankle and broke it.
After the check from officials and the Octagon doctor, the fight was waved off by referee Herb Dean and was awarded to Poirier via. TKO due to a doctor stoppage.
That was not how the fans would have wanted a fight of such intensity to end. With all said and done, Poirier did deserve to win that fight.
Jolie Poirier flips the bird
An irate McGregor uttered extremely personal stuff aimed directly towards Poirier and his wife Jolie Poirier at the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
He kept repeating the fact that Jolie slid into his DMs. And just when Poirier and wife Jolie were making their way out of the Octagon, Jolie flipped the bird at McGregor who was looking angrily at her husband Poirier.
