Henry Cejudo rips into God of War with big Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno prediction

Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno is one of the big fights at UFC 256 and Henry Cejudo shared his prediction

Former UFC Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo doesn’t seem to be a fan of current champion Deiveson Figueiredo.

The God of War has been excellent since taking over the vacant title after Cejudo’s UFC retirement. While Triple C has spoken about making a return sometime in the future, he has taken shots at almost every single UFC star.

Cejudo was speaking to the Schmo and claimed that the Brazilian is only a babysitter for the Flyweight title:

“The only reason why Deiveson Figueiredo is there is because of me. To me, he is the lord of nothing.

“I am the one that gave him that position. I am allowing him to babysit my belt and he has been a pretty good babysitter in my eyes.”

Not a good fight for Figueiredo

The champion was excellent in his previous fight against Alex Perez but Cejudo didn’t have a positive prediction for the Brazilian.

Cejudo claimed that Figueiredo’s weight cuts would be a problem and that would be the chance for Moreno to get the title.

Triple C was certain a new Flyweight champion was coming up at UFC 256 and added that Moreno used to train with him too.

Cejudo will go down as one of the greatest MMA athletes of all-time but his decision to retire in his prime was questionable. The former champion added that he would keep an eye on fights just so he could criticize how they were doing.

It will be interesting to see how the Moreno vs Figueiredo fight goes. The God of War has been untouchable since fighting for the UFC belt and Moreno could be another victim as he cements his legacy.
