Beneil Dariush picked up another impressive win with a spinning back fist KO
Beneil Dariush won his latest match thanks to an incredible spinning back fist knockout against Scott Holtzman.
This was the 31-year-old’s 19th win in MMA and also his fifth on the spin. However, what was more impressive was the nature of the finish.
Getting a spinning back fist KO is one of the best ways to win a fight and got a lot of people excited.
This was Dariush’s fourth consecutive finish too but he missed out on the bonus due to missing weight.
Dariush still showed off how much class he had as he wanted the bonus to be given to his rival instead.
Nevertheless, the finish also got a rising UFC star excited in Giga Chikadze. The 31-year-old has won all his three UFC fights so far and is 10-2 in his career.
However, he was jumping around like a child as Dariush executed the spinning back fist perfectly.

Bigger things on the horizon
While Dariush confirmed he is someone to keep an eye on in the Lightweight division, Chikadze also has some big plans.
The Georgian spoke about the pressures of being one of the few from his country to fight in the UFC, and also spoke about Royce Gracie being one reason he got into all this.
However, the 31-year-old also added that Bruce Lee and Jet Li were also reasons for getting into MMA but he was already learning Karate from a young age.
Chikadze has another big fight in his UFC career at the end of August. The Georgian faces Alex Caceres at UFC Fight Night 174, and that will be another interesting clash.
