Francis Ngannou wants to win the UFC Heavyweight title in his next fight but also wants the UFC to expand into Africa

UFC Heavyweight title contender Francis Ngannou has big plans set up for his next fight but he also has an eye for talent.

Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya, both champions from Africa, have roots in the continent and Ngannou wants to be a champion like them.

Dana White recently shared a video of a youngster training in Nigeria and it was quite a sight. The young boxer had some incredible speed and movement and the UFC president seemed impressed with his skills.

Ngannou, for his part, wanted White to do more. He urged the UFC boss to open up a training and development facility in the continent and added that there was a lot of talent to explore there.

Ngannou has a rival in the division

While Ngannou has spoken about his desire to face Miocic for the second time in his career, he faces competition for the title shot.

Jon Jones has moved up a division after vacating his UFC Light Heavyweight title and is keen on facing Miocic too.

Ngannou faced Miocic for the title way back in early 2018 but lost that fight. That was his first loss in the UFC and be got another one in the next fight.

However, the 34-year-old has been next to unstoppable since losing to Derrick Lewis. He has beaten Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos and Jairzinho Rozenstruik all via first-round stoppages.

Ngannou seems to be in the form of his life and it will be interesting to see if Francis Ngannou vs Stipe Miocic 2 is the next fight for the UFC Heavyweight title.
