Dustin Poirier jokingly shared his hot sauce routine on Twitter

There are two things Dustin Poirier knows a lot about, MMA, and hot sauce. The UFC lightweight fighter is famously in the hot sauce industry himself.

Poirier’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce is perhaps one of the most famous brands of the product in the United States in recent months, most probably because of his success inside the octagon.

And he is doing a fair bit of hard work on social media to promote it in recent weeks. Earlier, he took a hot sauce challenge on First We Feast’s famous show, Hot Ones.

Now, he has found a way to sneak the sauces into his morning routine as well. A fan on Twitter asked him what his morning routine and diet plan was.

Jokingly (or so we hope), The Diamond replied by saying “Wake up drink water, eat hot sauce. Repeat”.

Now that’s not a healthy morning routine… or is it? It certainly seems to be working for him, so we can’t be too cynical about it.

While this is not the most successful wave that Poirier has ridden in his MMA career, it is certainly the most famous he has ever been.

His victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 257 has shot his name to new heights; so much so, you’d think it was a title fight.

He has been the centre of attention ever since. A bunch of fighters, some not even from his division, has called him out for a fight.

Not only that, he has also found his way into a Super Bowl advertisement recently. So, it certainly doesn’t seem like a bad idea to use that success to promote his own hot sauce.

You can actually order it from here if you want a taste for yourself.
