Dustin Poirier brought out the Conor McGregor strut following his victory at UFC 264
Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 came to an unexpected end. After an entertaining first 4 and a half minutes, the fight took a turn for the worse after McGregor landed on his left ankle and snapped it.
The officials and Octagon doctor had him checked and the fight was waved off by referee Herb Dean after he was deemed unfit to continue.
Poirier won the trilogy fight via. TKO due to a doctor stoppage. Not the ending fans would have wanted, but the ‘Diamond’ did deserve it.
The general consensus following the fight was that Poirier would have eventually won the fight in the later rounds. Such was his dominating in the second half of the first round. His nasty elbows and ground strikes inflicted severe damage on McGregor.
Following his victory, Poirier hit the billionaire strut mocking McGregor who was resting alongside the cage due to his injury. Hardly 10 minutes prior to that, McGregor had entered the Octagon and hit his trademark billionaire strut.
Dustin Poirier’s wife Jolie Poirier doesn’t hold back as well
A dejected and raging McGregor was giving his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. ‘The Irishman’ hurled mouthy expletives at Dustin Poirier and his wife Jolie.
And just as the couple were making their way out of the Octagon while McGregor was on the mic with Rogan, Jolie flipped the middle finger at McGregor.
Prior to the fight, McGregor had taken several shots at Poirier’s wife Jolie for sliding into his DMs.
