Dana White pays tribute to Michael Bisping

On Sunday, UFC chief Dana White took some time out to pay a special tribute to Michael Bisping. White wrote, “Congrats Bisping on a bad a** career worthy of a documentary. U deserve it all my brother.”

In 2013, during a fight against Vitor Belford, Bisping suffered a retinal detachment in his right eye which led to a complete loss of vision. However, he still continued fighting with one eye for the remainder of his career and even went on to win the UFC middleweight title.

Michael Bisping MMA and UFC record

During his 15 years as an MMA fighter, Michael Bisping held a 30-9 professional fight record. Prior to signing with the UFC in 2006, Bisping had an unbeaten 10-0 record.

Bisping began his UFC stint with 4 wins in a row before suffering defeat against Rasha Evans. However, it was in 2016, at UFC 199, when Bisping became the first-ever British fighter to win a UFC title.
