Dan Hooker’s revitalized tenacity and thirst for resurgence didn’t get the job done at UFC London, but he received a hero’s welcome from his daughter.

His daughter proved why she is his biggest fan. The two hadn’t met each other at all this year amidst visa disputes. Hooker posted a video on Instagram that is tear-jerking, to say the least.

He captioned the post, ‘First time seeing my baby this year. 😊

The video is sure to strike a chord in MMA fans’ hearts, who understand the sacrifices and pain a fighter has to go through to entertain us.

“I hope he can rebound from these setbacks” – Charles Oliveira sends out words of encouragement to Dan Hooker following his loss at UFC London

The City Kickboxing star was driven by the prospect of revitalizing his career with a move down to featherweight, but Arnold Allen pumped brakes to his plan. Hooker is on an all-time low in terms of his career and even the boss-man Dana White has no idea about his future.

UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira was supportive of Hooker, and wants him to bounce back. He posted a tweet captioning, “I wish him the best, and I hope he can rebound from these setbacks. God bless you and your family, @danthehangman”

This beautiful display of empathy from the champion would mean a lot to Hooker, given the fact that Charles has had to go through some dark times of his own.
