Conor McGregor and Kamaru Usman went back and forth on Twitter after the former had a social media run-in with Jorge Masvidal

Conor McGregor has now shifted his attention towards Kamaru Usman, but not before the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ hit out at the Irishman after he slandered Jorge Masvidal for pulling out of the Leon Edwards fight.

Usman brought up McGregor “crying about injuries,” probably referencing the UFC 264 post-fight interview and its aftermath.

McGregor had snapped his left ankle at the end of the first round against Dustin Poirier (at UFC 264), and ended up losing the fight via. TKO (due to doctor stoppage).

He then went on to address Joe Rogan, in one of the angriest and rage-filled post-fight interviews of all time.

Usman wrote:

“You should be quiet. You cry about injuries more than anyone after you get your ass whipped. Foot, Ankle, Shin what else am I missing?”

The welterweight king’s comments did not sit well with McGregor. He pointed out Usman often trying to impersonate him.

His Tweet read:

“Ye you’re missing something bro for sure. Don’t quite know what tho. Originality maybe? I don’t know, something. It’s like, nobody cares. No one cares what the fuck you’re at. And you try so hard too, I just don’t know. Somethings missing for you tho for sure. God bless anyway.”

Conor McGregor claims there is no one “remotely close to his Boxing”

Conor McGregor was not impressed when a ‘not-well-known’ MMA page placed him at number 3 in the list of best Boxers in the UFC.

Petr Yan and Max Holloway were ahead of him, with Jose Aldo and Nate Diaz behind.

McGregor wrote:

“I outboxed 3 guys on this list! There’s no one even remotely close to my boxing in the ufc. Even Dustin only got shots off post the leg damage. Everyone has been pucked around by me if we are going off boxing. Yan is good tho, i like his style. I’d rip him up in that shell tho.”
