UFC Fight Night 182 results: The latest UFC event had some incredible fights on their card with the main event featuring a couple of Brazilian greats in Glover Teixeira and Thiago Santos.
Giga Chikadze was also in action against Jamey Simmons while Claudia Gadelha took on rising Chinese star Yan Xiaonan.
As with any UFC event, there were some brutal hits and submissions across the fights and here are the results from UFC Fight Night 182.
Preliminary card
Gustavo Lopez beats Anthony Birchak – Submission (rear-naked choke)
The first fight of the night ended early as Gustavo Lopez got the rear-naked choke on Anthony Birchak.
Max Griffin beats Ramiz Brahimaj – TKO (doctor’s stoppage)
Max Griffin got the better of Ramiz Brahimaj after a doctor’s stoppage as the ear of Brahimaj was destroyed and was almost taken off his head.
Darren Elkins beats Luiz Eduardo Garagorri – Submission (rear-naked choke)
The third fight of the night almost went the entire distance but Darren Elkins defeating Luiz Eduardo Garagorri with another rear-naked choke of the night.
Alexandr Romanov beats Marcos Rogerio de Lima – Submission (Forearm choke)
This was another fight that ended early as Alexandr Romanov got a forearm choke in on Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
Trevin Giles beats Bevon Lewis – TKO (punches)
Trevin Giles got the final win of the prelim card by getting a TKO win over Bevon Lewis.
Main card
Yan Xiaonan beats Claudia Gadelha – Unanimous decision
The first fight of the main card saw two rising Strawweights battling and it was Xiaonan who got the win over Gadelha.
Giga Chikadze beats Jamey Simmons – TKO (head kick)
Giga Chikadze also continued his rise in the UFC with a great head kick win over Jamey Simmons.
Raoni Barcelos beats Khalid Taha – Unanimous decision
Raoni Barcelona and Khalid Taha put on quite a show but it was Barcelona who got the win in the end with a great performance.
Andrei Arlovski beats Tanner Boser – Unanimous decision
Andrei Arlovski turned the clock back as he beat the odds and also Tanner Boser.
Glover Teixeira beats Thiago Santos – Submission (rear-naked choke)
Teixeira survived a huge punch in the second round before coming back to defeat Santos via submission.
