Tribes of Midgard is a unique blend of base building, survival and rougelite genres. The game’s main focus is to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil and stop Ragnarok – The end of the World. The players must protect their village from invaders, deadly spirits and elemental giants.
Tribes of Midgard Gameplay
This is 10 players online co-op game where you will be dropped in a freshly generated world with absolutely nothing during each session. The players have to collect resources and build their village with the help of their Tribe. Players will gain experience and unlock more content and features after each session. The Seed of Yggdrasil is constantly under threat from different entities. The game also has a day and night cycle where each time you face a different challenge.
Platforms
Tribes of Midgard is available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. Sadly for Xbox players, the game is not available on that console.
Crossplay in Tribes of Midgard
The game currently does not support crossplay. But the developers have said that it is something that they are looking into it. Cross play is a feature which most current games have. So we can hope that the developers will add it soon.
Cross-save in Tribes of Midgard
Tribes of Midgard will have a cross-save function. Currently, it is limited to the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4. This is another feature that fans are hoping will be available for PC as well.
